WHEELED VEHICLES

RESETS (10/20; 0 resets)

• STA also subcontracted the majority of the personnel required to man the AMG HMMWV Reset Project performed at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait during 1994-1995 including all the mechanics, project administrative and logistics personnel.

RECONSTITUTION

• STA recently completed a HMMWV Reconstitution project in Killeen, Texas for Ft. Hood as a subcontractor to AM General, LLC (AMG), the HMMWV OEM.  STA provided the majority of the project's manpower requirements including HMMWV mechanics, mechanic helpers, senior mechanics, vehicle inspectors, production supervisors, logistics manager and personnel, safety, administrative personnel, timekeeper, drivers and provisiones.

LOGISTICS SUPPORT/TRAINING

• STA also has senior personnel subcontracted to AMG - Site Project Manager, HMMWV Field Service Representative and Quality Control personnel to support AMG’s HMMWV LOC warehousing operation at their Red River and Letter, Kenny Army Depot warehouse sites, which provide complete supply chain support to the Depots HMMWV RESET operations.
• STA also has an ongoing OCONUS contract with AMG wherein Shiptech provides personnel to AMG to man their Egypt Sinai HMMWV US Army field support operation (HMMWV mechanics and ULLS operators).

UP-ARMOR INSTALLATION

• STA currently deployed a 5-man Team in Iraq for an UpArmor Installation subcontract with Armor Holdings, Inc.
• STA has installed HMMWV up-armor kits on HMMWV’s for BAE,  for AMTI and SRC.

WARRANTY   

• STA provides HMMWV support services to AMG for both CONUS and OCONUS Projects including warranty, new vehicle delivery support and vehicle upgrade kit installations and technical instructors

PARTS DISTRIBUTOR

• STA through its co-owned sister company, ‘Shiptech America LLC’, located in Charleston, SC, is the South East USA SBA Parts Distributor for AMG vehicles including the HMMWV and 5-Ton trucks. As a parts distributor, STA is familiar with parts ordering, receiving, inspecting, warehousing, mil-spec packing including bar coding and RF tagging, material handling and shipping of military parts.

INSPECTION, PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES

FACILITIES

• STA also has extensive experience with long-term maintenance and repair contracts both industrial/ commercial and government including complete Shipyard Facility maintenance program including all ground services, buildings, machinery equipment, piers, pier services, HVAC, electrical service, potable water, fire mains, steam boilers, welding equipment, water blast equipment, lifting services and tools

 

 

CRANES

• STA also has a contract to perform inspection, preventive maintenance and repairs including Load Testing of Overhead Cranes up to 35 tons, Rail Mounted Portal Cranes up to 55 tons, Mobile Cranes up to 20 tons and Floating Cranes up to 120 tons.

 

 

 

DOORS

• STA also has a contract to perform inspection, preventive maintenance and repairs on doors (Hangar/Warehouse - Automatic and Manual) at several military installations in the South East USA.

 

 

 

 

BUILDINGS

• STA also has extensive experience in activation, maintenance and repairs of Industrial Buildings, Housing, Work shops, Barracks, Galley, training classrooms, offices and warehousing.

 

 

FORKLIFTS & GENERATORS

• STA also has extensive experience in inspection, preventive maintenance and repairs of Forklifts (diesel, gas and propane) and Generators up to 250 KW.

 

 

 

 

VEHICLES

• STA also has extensive experience in maintenance and repairs of commercial trucks up to 10 ton, service trucks, boom lifts, cars, buses and vans

MAJOR PROJECT RELATED STA CONTRACTS

STA’s primary business activities to date, has been providing subcontract CONUS and OCONUS HMMWV maintenance and logistical support services to AMG, the HMMWV OEM. The majority of these subcontracts (listed above) were in fact US Government contracts performed under AM General, LLC.
